Welcome to ScrollStop. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ScrollStop mobile application ("App") operated by ScrollStop ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScrollStop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use ScrollStop. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

2. Description of Service

ScrollStop is a mobile application designed to help users reduce their screen time and manage their digital wellness by monitoring and limiting scrolling behavior on their devices. The App provides:

• Screen time tracking and analytics
• Customizable scrolling limits and reminders
• Usage insights and reports
• Digital wellness tools and resources

3. User Account

To access certain features of ScrollStop, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.

4. Privacy and Data Collection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using ScrollStop, you consent to:

• The collection of usage data and analytics
• Processing of information necessary to provide the service
• Anonymized data being used to improve the App

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use automated systems to access the App without our permission
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of ScrollStop, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, are owned by ScrollStop or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use only.

7. Subscription and Payments

ScrollStop may offer premium features through subscription plans. If you choose to subscribe:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Price changes will be notified in advance

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and their respective terms and conditions apply.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCROLLSTOP AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScrollStop and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the new Terms in the App
• Sending you an email or push notification
• Updating the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will cease immediately
• We may delete your account and associated data
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in California, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ScrollStop regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
